NICE sets quality standards for assessment of peripheral arterial disease
Patients with the symptoms of peripheral arterial disease (PAD) should be offered a clinical assessment and ankle brachial pressure index (ABPI) measurement and people with intermittent claudication should be offered a supervised exercise programme.
