Report highlights lack of rehabilitation for brain haemorrhage patients
Almost 19 per cent of patients who have an aneurysmal subarachnoid haemorrhage (aSAH) do not receive physiotherapy or other rehabilitation while they are in hospital, according to a National Confidential Enquiry into Patient Outcome and Death (NCEPOD) report entitled Subarachnoid Haemorrhage: Managing the Flow (2013).
