Research summary of a study in the Netherlands examining the effectiveness of circuit training in the rehabilitation of stroke patients. The self-reported walking competency of patients after 6, 12, 18 and 24 weeks of exercise using circuit training was compared with outcomes for those receiving usual physiotherapy.
