Clinical academic development opportunities for AHPs
The NIHR is inviting nominations for clinical lectureships and senior clinical lectureships. These schemes have been designed to support individuals committed to developing careers that combine research and clinical practice by contributing to their salary costs. Clinical Lectureship Awards also cover appropriate research project costs and academic training costs. Award holders will be expected to divide their time equally between their clinical and academic commitments. Clinical Lectureships (CLs) are open to nurses, midwives and allied health professionals only. Senior Clinical Lectureships (SCLs) are open to nurses, midwives, allied health professionals and healthcare scientists.
