Issues identified as influencing the rehabilitation of culturally and linguistically diverse patients are explored, including communication and trust, values and beliefs, cultural problems involving tests, returning to work and the cross-cultural education of professionals. Self-referral pilots to musculoskeletal physiotherapy and the implications for improving access to other AHP services
Report of work to explore the impact of opening up access to musculoskeletal physiotherapy through self-referral where it had not previously been part of usual service provision. The report also considers the implications for access to other allied health professions services. Findings highlight benefits to patients and services.

BDA endorse report findings on malnutrition:
The British Dietetic Association, endorsed the findings of a new report - Combating Malnutrition: Recommendations for Action, following the culmination of work undertaken by a group of experts in malnutrition. The Report reveals that three million people are living at risk of malnutrition in the UK, with the cost of the condition now estimated to be £13 billion every year. It also puts forward 25 actions that the Government needs to take to address the problem of malnutrition.
